One of my favorite poets is ee Cummings. He isn’t everyone’s cup of tea and is known for playing with punctuation and spelling in his verse, but what I incorrectly attribute to cummings is something often billed as the shortest poem written entitled Fleas. “Adam Had’em”. This column is my equivalent of that verse because I jammed till 4:30 this morning and stumbled, somewhat incoherently, into my sleeping bag before waking up and realizing that I still had a column to write.
So….with apologies and greetings from Grass Valley.......I hope your evening was as irresponsibly enjoyable.
So for my dad, and all the other dads, Happy Father’s Day.!
