Do I need to be a member of the CBA to volunteer A... No, you do not except if you will be working with children or handling money. Q... How many hours do I need to work to earn a free 4 day pass A... You need to work 16 hours if your job is where you can see and hear the shows. All other jobs require 12 hours volunteer time. Q... Can I work more than the required time and earn more than one free ticket A... No, One free ticket per person. (if you feel you have a special circumstance You can talk this over with your coordinator or any board member). Q... Do I have to wear my Volunteer Name Badge all the time at the Festival A... We like to have everyone wear their badge all the time but it is only required when you are doing your volunteer job. Q... What about T-Shirts A... Sorry--This year (2007) we will not be having Volunteer T-Shirts Q... How do I volunteer to help at a CBA Festival or Concert other than Grass Valley A... Contact the Area Activities president for the area you are interested in (they are listed in the Bluegrass Breakdown) or contact the Volunteer Coordinator or any Board Member and one of them can give you the contact information. Q... What if I've already purchased my ticket and volunteer A... At the end of the Festival on Sunday a copy of your time sheet signed by your coordinator will be given to the Volunteer Coordinator. The price you paid for your ticket will then be refunded to you by the C.B.A. Treasurer. A check will be mailed to you. Q... When will I get a form letter in the mail A... A letter will be mailed to all volunteers in the middle of March. Q... How do I get on the Volunteer Coordinator's mailing list A... If you volunteered last year you are on the list. If you did not then just e-mail or call the Volunteer Coordinator. Q... I thought I was on the mailing list but did not receive a letter A... You may have changed your address and the coordinator does not have the new one. E-mail the Volunteer Coordinator to make sure your mailing information is correct...
