Simple words somehow seem inadequate to describe the wonderful heartfelt presentation and sheer musical prowess of Copper Canyon with their latest project “Tales from the Canyon”. It is, in all respects, a “must have” recording. A tasteful blend of original, contemporary bluegrass songwriting, inextricably melded to the tradition of the masters of the genre’. The CD will ultimately carry the listener to emotional highs worthy of a hang glider experience over the Grand Canyon itself!

The soaring choruses, the surgical instrumental breaks, the evocative stories within, the fiddle breaks! (Oh my God! The fiddle breaks!) All good and sufficient reasons, in and of themselves, to plunk down the modest fee for your very own CD.

There is a fresh “new love” kind of excitement to the music of Copper Canyon. You just can’t seem to get enough! From the surgical guitar expressions of Rick Jamison, to the smooth mandolin work and top notch vocal offerings of Phil Cornish, to the award winning fiddle work and pristine vocal harmonies of Megan Lynch, the project fills the listener’s brain with excitement and artistry, previously experienced by only a few hard core, 3AM jammers willing to hang in for that special gift reserved for those chosen few souls willing to push through the envelope to catch that fleeting image of the muse! Veteran Bluegrassers Patrick Ickes (banjo) and Jerry Logan (bass) draw on a world class quality and touch, rivaling those deep in a holler of The Cumberland Gap!

Bottom line? Rick Jamison & Copper Canyon is destined to become the next big thing! See: http://www.coppercanyonbluegrass.com .
