Jakob Michael Doerfel

He was born on the 19th at 8:21! He was a whopping 8 lbs 7 oz and I think most of that weight is in his cheeks! We are both doing great and can't wait to introduce little Jakob to his CBA family!

Dear Angelica and TJ,

Congratulations!!! Stick a banjo in that kid's crib right now. All of your CBA family shares your joy. Like you, we wouldn't care a bit if that cute little thing never sang a note or plucked a string ... but I sure hope he does!

angelica - I know your sweet baby doesn't have any teeth yet, but that's no reason to give him a banjo.

since you couldn't have him on the 23rd, I am honored that you gave him my name in the middle.
A new star is born to the both of you.
I'll bet Uncle Jack's buttons are popping off of his shirt!

Angelica and TJ--

A zillion people have already said congratulations. Ditto from me.

Ignore Cliff Compton's remark. It is perfectly okay to give an infant a banjo. (Although a dulcimer might work better for soothing him to sleep.)

Wow, 8 and 7 oz is not small . . . *G*

As Cliff suggests, no REASON to give that child a hubcap, unless it's a dobro . . . I hope you'll consider your new born for parts sanging and some dobro, fiddle, mando work.

A lot of that dobro work . . *G*
