CBA MESSAGE BOARD PURPOSE AND USE AGREEMENTS

This message board is maintained to encourage a free exchange of ideas and information among visitors. It is provided as a service to the California bluegrass community.
While the administrators and moderators of this forum will attempt to remove or edit any generally objectionable material as quickly as possible, it is impossible to review every message the moment it has been posted. Therefore, by posting on this Message Board,

YOU AGREE and acknowledge that all posts made to this forum express the views and opinions of the author and not those of the webmaster, the moderators, the CBA board or its officers who, therefore, will not be held liable.

YOU AGREE to use respectful language. Like any community, the CBA bluegrass forum will flourish only when its users feel welcome and safe. YOU AGREE to be courteous. YOU AGREE to maintain civility when disagreeing with others. YOU AGREE not to make personal attacks against individuals or against any specific groups of individuals (e.g., bands).

YOU AGREE not to post any abusive, obscene, vulgar, slanderous, hateful, defamatory, threatening, sexually oriented or any other material that may violate any applicable laws.

YOU AGREE not to use an alias with the intent of impersonating another individual. Further, YOU AGREE to use a valid, working e-mail address when creating a new thread or making a post on an existing thread and YOU UNDERSTAND that using a fictitious e-mail address when making a post will be grounds for a permanent ban from the CBA web site.

The Message Board was built and is maintained by the California Bluegrass Association to provide our bluegrass community with a means of more easily sharing information and resources and opinions that, ultimately, will help the CBA meet its mission-to preserve and promote bluegrass, old time and gospel music.

Hence and most importantly, YOU AGREE to use the Message Board in a way that is consistent with this over-arching mission and YOU AGREE that you will post nothing on the board that will in any way hamper or detract from progress toward the mission of the California Bluegrass Association.

Breaching any of these agreements may lead to your immediate and permanent ban from cbaonthweb.org.
