Don Rigsby

As a young boy growing up in Eastern, KY, I was fortunate enough to have a Father who loved Bluegrass music, the Stanley Brothers in particular, so much that it was pretty well all we heard in our house. I fell in love with their magical mountain harmonies before I even started school.

My brother is a fantastic banjo picker too and as he is older than me, was already playing with local bands. My Dad held his talent in very high regard and I wanted equal time! So I set about learning to play myself. This music has taken me all over the world. I don't regret any of it and still love to play, sing and entertain the fans!
