Tina Louise Barr

Description
Internationally acclaimed performer of the Autoharp, a multi-stringed American instrument.

Tina Louise Barr has won numerous awards for her innovative musical abilities on the Autoharp. Tina is recognized as a leader in her field, and she performs across the U.S.

Tina is well-known for her remarkable clarity and versatility on the Autoharp, and her trademark "high-geared" instrumentals have won recognition in the professional recording industry. Tina was flown out to Nashville, Tennessee to record her unique styles. She was accompanied by the project's co-producers Mark Howard and Ron Wall, as well as top Nashville session musicians Dennis Crouch, Richard Bailey, and Stuart Duncan.

Tina Louise Barr is the winner of the Modesto Area Music Association (MAMA) Award, in the "Best Americana" category.

Tina's solo performances include the CTMS Summer Solstice Festival, San Francisco Folk Music Festival, Brookdale Bluegrass Festival, Mountain Laurel Autoharp Gathering, Willamette Valley Autoharp Gathering, and the California Autoharp Gathering. She also has performed live on radio and television.

In addition, Tina Louise Barr has been featured with the Black Irish Band, at venues including the Freight and Salvage Coffeehouse and the Palms. She also performs throughout northern California with her band, " The Bluegrass Compadres".

Tina Louise Barr is the founder of the Harps in High Gear ! concert series, and she also has created and organized the Modesto, California bluegrass events " Mo-Grass " and the " Little Mo-Opry ".
