Dr. Elmo & Wild Blue is Marin County's premier bluegrass band. The quintet mixes bluegrass classics and originals with folk and country songs, providing an entertaining and energetic show for audiences of all ages. Their most recent CD is titled "Wild Blue Grass."
Wild Blue features Dr. Elmo, whose holiday hit "Grandma Got Run Over By A Reindeer" has been the most popular Christmas song in the nation for the past 30 years, having sold over ten million copies. Originally from the state of Kentucky -- the birthplace of bluegrass music -- he has been living in Marin for over 40 years now.
