The California Bluegrass
Association (CBA) is a California Non-Profit Corporation which was founded in
1975 in the San Francisco Bay Area. The CBA is dedicated to the furtherance of
Bluegrass, Old-Time, and Gospel Music in California. The Articles of
Incorporation further state that the organization is formed to promote,
encourage, foster, and cultivate the preservation, appreciation, understanding,
enjoyment, support, and performance of traditional instrumental and vocal music
of the United States.

Band Selection for
Father's Day Festival

A
committee of three individuals, appointed by the CBA Board of Directors, develops a complete
line-up for the Fathers Day Festival and submits it to the board for review and ratification.
If you would like to submit a packet to the committee, please direct it to our business office
address shown above. (For a description of the process the Association follows in selecting
talent for the FDF, click here.)
IMPORTANT NOTE: As has been reported, the entire line up for 35th Fathers Day Festival coming up in 2010 has been booked. The complete line up will be reported in the October Bluegrass Breakdown. Like our 30th Anniversary, the California Showcase program has been suspended and will be reinstated for the 2011 FDF.
